Kazem Vaziri Hamaneh, Iranian oil minister said:” three Petrochemical Units Qadir, Zagros and Borzouye in case difficulties are resolved, will start their production in two months.”
Kazem Vaziri Hamaneh after a one-day trip to visit Pars Especial Energy Zone referring to two agreements with China and Malaysia to develop North Pars, Golshan and Ferdos gas fields expressed:” we hope these agreements turn into contracts and we use their investments.” Iranian oil minister about the Iran-Iraq agreement on common fields pointed out:” according to the agreement with Iraqi oil minister a reliable consultant will define the share of each part.” He also added:” the consultant defines the domains and backgrounds in which the agreement is needed.” Kazem Vaziri Hamaneh about Arash ,an Iranian-Kuwaiti common gas field, mentioned to some negotiations with Kuwaiti officials and said: “there are some ambiguity about the precise location of sea borders and the share of two parts that should be resolved through political negotiations, after that we can make a plan to develop the gas field.” “In the next 20-year prospect, more than $100 billion investment is needed, to reach the appropriate capacity in oil domain and the needed production in gas domain to inject to fields, domestic consumption and export.” The oil minister confirmed.
