Iran’s Gas Production to be Increased to ‎‏4.5‏‎ Times as Much

Gas exploration increases to ‎‏492‏‎ million cubic meters per day, Gas Production also ‎increases to ‎‏1820‏cubic meters in the next ‎‏20‏‎ years.‎

National Iranian Oil Company’s deputy manager talking about Iranian gas industry future ‎in the first conference on refinement industry said: “Iran’s gas exportation via pipelines is ‎going to be increased from ‎‏13‏‎ million cubic meters in ‎‏2005‏‎ to ‎‏304‏‎ million cubic meters ‎in ‎‏2024‏‎, and for liquid gas this amount will be increased from zero to ‎‏188‏‎ million cubic ‎meters; thus, Iran’s gas exportation will be ‎‏492‏‎ cubic meters in ‎‏2024‏‎ altogether.”‎
Mohammad Javad Asemi-Pour added about enriched gas production: “presently gas ‎production is about ‎‏436‏‎ cubic meters, but at the end of the ‎‏20‏‎-year perspective Iran will ‎produce ‎‏1820‏‎ cubic meters in ‎‏2024‏‎.”‎
Asemi-Pour mentioned the gas and oil exploration anticipation and pointed out: “all sorts ‎of exploration in oil domain will increase from ‎‏500‏‎ to ‎‏11‏‎ million and ‎‏200‏‎ thousand in ‎‏2024‏‎, and in the gas domain it would be ‎‏3348‏‎ billion cubic meters at that time.”‎
He expressed” all of the exploration in the Caspian Sea was about ‎‏500‏‎ million barrels last ‎year which will be ‎‏8500‏‎ million barrels in ‎‏2024‏‎.”‎
National Iranian Oil Company’s deputy manager talked about this company’s indices in ‎the ‎‏20‏‎-year development program said:” the average crude oil production is about ‎‏4‏‎ ‎million and ‎‏21‏‎ thousand barrels which increase to ‎‏4‏‎ million and ‎‏233‏‎ thousand barrels in ‎‏2024‏‎.” He also said about refineries’ share of crude oil: “the crude oil which is used to ‎feed refineries is ‎‏1‏‎ million and ‎‏598‏‎ thousand barrels now and will be ‎‏2‏‎ million and ‎‏682‏‎ ‎thousand in less than ‎‏20‏‎ years.”‎
