Iranian Oil Plans Welcomed by International Companies‎

‏23‏‎ big oil companies to be present in the information rooms of ‎‏17‏‎ Iran’s oil blocks.‎

So far ‎‏23‏‎ European and Asian companies have asked to visit the information rooms of ‎‏17‏‎ ‎oil blocks, which indicates the approval of big international oil companies.‎
Having sated this about the ‎‏17‏‎ Iran’s oil bocks which are put out for lowest tender for oil ‎exploration and the approval received from the international companies.‎
The deputy manager of the National Iranian Oil Company exploration section said:” on ‎February ‎‏5‏th the information room was opened to provide more detailed information to ‎companies that would like to offer their tender and ‎‏23‏‎ big European and Asian oil ‎companies have booked these rooms so far.‎
Hussein Roshandel added, “The presence of important European oil companies such as ‎Shell, State Oil, Edison Gas of Italy and Look Oil shows that foreign companies have ‎welcomed Iranian oil plans.”‎
He pointed out, “the demand has been so high that two rooms were assigned to provide ‎information on ‎‏17‏‎ oil blocks, and owing to the capacity of the rooms, the companies can ‎book the rooms up to March.”‎
Roshandel stated,” in addition to European companies, there are companies from Brazil ‎
And Malaysia in the list and Iranian companies have also attended in consortiums.”‎
He added, “After the deadline for using the information room expires, the documents for ‎the tender will be sold, and the participants will be able to have a technical evaluation of ‎the blocks and select their desired block.”‎
According to Mehr news agency, these blocks are located in ‎‏9‏‎ provinces, covering an ‎area of ‎‏129‏‎ thousand sq km.‎
Qualified companies can buy the tender documents at various prices, and the highest ‎price for the tender documents has been set at € ‎‏38‏‎ thousand.‎
The lowest amount of investment for these ‎‏17‏‎ blocks has been declared to be € ‎‏46‏‎ ‎million.‎
