Last Gas Sweetening Train of Phase 13 Refinery Online

The operator of South Pars Phase 13 development project announced inauguration of the last Gas Sweetening Train of the project’s onshore refinery.

Payam Motamed, on Saturday, said sour Gas from phases 6 to 8 of the supergiant Gas field was fed to the Train for Sweetening on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Pars Oil and Gas Company’s inauguration.

 

This is the fourth Train to come online in the refinery, he said.

 

Phase 13 is being developed for production of 56 mcm/d of rich Gas, 75,000 b/d of Gas condensates, 400 tons/day of sulfur and 1.05 million tons per year of liquefied petroleum Gas (LPG) and a million tons per year of ethane, Shana wrote.
