TEHRAN (Shana) -- Construction of five offshore platforms of Abuzar, Forouzan and Resalat oil fields operated by the Iranian Offshore Oil Company (IOOC) is under way in Khorramshahr.
Construction of platforms A20 and A21 of Abuzar, FY-A and FZ-A of Forouzan and the wellhead platform of Resalat field is under way in workshops located in Khorramshahr.
Alireza Salmanzadeh, the CEO of IOOC, visited Khorramshahr Yard on Friday to learn about the construction process of these rigs.
During the visit, he said: “Given completion of South Pars phases and end of workshop activities, with the start of maintenance projects and increase of offshore oil production, we are witnessing new movements in the offshore facility construction workshop in Khorramshahr.”
