The onshore refining facility of South Pars Phase 13 is now prepared to be fed by all the gas produced at the offshore phase in the Persian Gulf.
A Pipeline to carry Sour Gas from Phase 13 of the offshore South Pars gas field to onshore refineries would become operational soon, the project’s operator said.
Operator of South Pars Phase 14 Development project said Platform 14B of the project was being prepared for loading to be installed at its offshore spot, adding the structure would be installed by March 20.
The Gasoline production capacity of the Bandar Abbas Gas Condensates Refinery—aka Persian Gulf Star Refinery, reached 45 million liters per day as the facility launched its third phase, a senior Iranian energy official said.
