Mousavi told senior oil managers that the petrochemical projects are accelerated under the aegis of cooperation and coordination among different companies active in the zone.
He said last year alone, 33.906 billion rials worth of deals were signed for investment in Pars zone. The figure was up 13 percent compared with the preceding year.
“During the first four months of the current calendar year, eight investment deals were signed. More contracts are being signed,” he added.
“In line with the policies adopted by the Supreme Council for Policymaking in Pars Special Zone, we are attracting foreign and private investment, creating jobs, transferring in new technologies and boost regional and international cooperation,” he said.
