The opening was attended by the Iranian Vice-President Parviz Davoudi, the Oil Minister Kazem Vaziri Hamaneh , some Iranian Parliament members and cabinet ministers, foreign ambassadors and high rank oil industry managers.
Seven hundred and ninety seven Iranian and 510 foreign companies, from 35 countries, have taken part in the Exhibition.
Talking in inaugural ceremony of the oil show, Iran’s Vice-President Parviz Davoudi pointed out the western countries’ pressure on Iran and added: “despite the problems, many companies from different countries such as Germany, Italy, England, Russia and Austria are present in the Exhibition.”
Pars Special Economic Energy Zone presents its abilities to absorb investment in 15th hall. Some models are available in the hall and experienced experts give some explanation about the South Pars conditions and capacities to visitors.
“Many companies will be conducting in the Iranian oil market” The Oil Minister Vaziri Hamaneh confirmed and said: “a $ 250 billion market is obtainable in a 20-year prospect, and that means Iranian and foreign companies have a great opportunity in Iran’s oil market.”
Four seminars themed Privatization and Article 44 of the Constitution, Optimization of Fuel Consumption, Self-sufficiency and Enhancing Local Construction and Job opportunity Creation will be held on the sidelines of the Exhibition, each aimed for attracting foreign investment.
The Vice-President, the Oil Minister, his deputy and Abdol Al Jalil Razavi After the news conference the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone’s directing manager, visited the PSEEZ hall and Mr. Razavi talked about the latest developments in the PSEEZ and South Pars’ phases.
The 12th International Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Exhibition is the largest one in the Middle East and among top 5 oil Exhibition in the world. The area, which the Exhibition is held in, is more than 37,000 square meters.
The Exhibition is open to visitors in Tehran International Fairground from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day from April 18 to 22.
