Ahmad Pour-Heydar, the customs chief in the zone, said 977,770 tons of gas Condensates were exported during the Iranian month of Khordad that ended June 21.
“This volume of exports shows 75 percent increase in terms of weight and 153 percent boost in terms of value compared with the same period last year,” he said.
During the same period, he added, nearly 1.4 million tons of non-oil products – worth more than 971 million dollars – were exported. In terms of weight and value, they registered 121 and 167 percent growth respectively.
“Moreover, more than two million tons of products including heavy and light polyethylene, gas Condensates, propane, butane, benzene and paraxylene valued at more than 1.885 billion dollars were exported to China, Japan, United Arab Emirates, India, Indonesia, Belgium, Netherlands, Turkey, Spain, Romania, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Afghanistan,” he said. He added that the figures showed 110 and 160 percent growth respectively in terms of weight and value compared with the preceding year.
At the same time, 12,577 tons of commodities were imported into Pars zone for more than 60 million dollars.
