Uruguayan ambassador: “a team of Iranian experts travels to Uruguay in next month to assess the conditions of Uruguayan refineries development.”
Uruguayan ambassador in an exclusive interview with Pars Special Economic Energy Zones Information Center correspondent said:”this is the first time that ambassadors of different countries visited South Pars zone and with Irans foreign ministry endeavor These visitations will continue.” The ambassador mentioned to Iran and western countries challenges and said:” the Iranians develop their industries perfectly; and the U.S. and other western countries intimidating policies have no effect on them.” Uruguayan ambassador visiting South Pars, gas and petrochemical facilities added:” industrial development in South Pars has some direct effects on Iranian job opportunities and economical conditions; and as I heard it has boomed neighbor cities economies.” He also added:” the process of training competent experts is extremely obvious and they can play an important role in Irans development.” He remarked Iran-Uruguay cooperation is not limited to gas and oil fields and added the countries can cooperate in many different domains.” He expressed Uruguay interest in Irans trading sectors and offered negotiations on establishment of a Urea factory in Uruguay for agricultural purposes. Uruguayan ambassador answering our correspondent question about the U.S. political pressure on Iran said:” fortunately Uruguay is an independent country since 1825. Uruguay has directed its relations with other counties independently since 180 years ago. And Uruguay is not worry about any relations with any countries.” The ambassador remarked:” Uruguayan relations are based on mutual respect and we want to reinforce cooperative relations with Iran according to this principle.”
